Yesterday kicked off what is going to be routine – doubles. like our old school soccer sessions where we’d do a session before classes and one after. the same will apply here. the story goes:

  1. wake up
  2. coffee
  3. train
  4. clean up
  5. coffee
  6. go to work
  7. coffee
  8. come home
  9. train
  10. clean up
  11. go to bed
  12. repeat

So not that it was the first, but it’s more consistent and a little longer now. yesterday’s was a 3k swim in the morning with what i considered a very hard interval session to wrap it up after a “longish” day at work (i got on the trainer by 9). the interval session on the bike included 2x10min 100% CP bits and 4x5min 105% CP “treats” 😉

The legs just weren’t, errrrm, snappy? yeah, snappy… after (or during) that bit. I do have to keep that session around tho as it was good and hard, especially after the run the previous eve.

More of this is on the sked for today too. To bookend the day we have a 2 hour ride and a 1hour hill run. I gotta figure out how to get more sleep in tho (although sleep sure is coming easy with this sked).

So far, so good.
