Spain Day 1 – arrived!
We arrived around 3pm at the camp to a little mixed clouds and cool out, but it really is quite nice here. John and I went for a 10k run before dinner and a little preview of the towns around where we are based. The run also led us through the olive groves and near a still flooded stream. People are coming in bursts as flights are delayed through the UK so there have been many shuttles back and forth. Some of the gang have really been painfully put out with cancellations and even being forced to return from where they took off from. Everybody seems to be really excited to break away and get down to work. I’ve pretty much slept and ate my way over here and am so ready for some Z’s.
