Run Forest, Run!
So Matt suggested I follow up yesterday’s bike with a bit of a run today, and if he suggests it… you do it. So here we went (oh yeah, you need to factor in a little anger at the 2nd ticket in 2 days – the little car wasn’t inspected! Gah!):

- Time: 50min
- Avg pace: 8:18/mi
- Avg speed: 7.2mph
- Max speed: 10.1mph
- Avg HR: 176bpm
- Max HR: 193bpm
- Total Ascent/Descent: 988ft/1023ft
This was a very nice 6mi loop with some really good hills. I totally enjoyed this mixed run, but man was it hot and humid. I ate a single Cliff Bar before heading out (as I didn’t have dinner yet – getting home a little late) and only carried a single iced water bottle, which seemed to do me fine for that distance and heat. When I got back there wasn’t much of a weight loss to speak of which was good news after the half iron where I noticed a 2lb water loss.
